Sunday was a pretty chill day. After spending a few hours checking out what we didn’t see earlier that weekend, and hanging out for the last day with everyone, it was soon time to pack it in. The ride home was nice. We headed down I-81 to the Shenandoah Valley and rode 100 miles through the National Park. We picked up I-64 and headed over to I-40 through North Carolina. I-40 through this area is actually a nice curvy bit of Freeway. I took over driving duty while Trucker grabed the DSLR and hung out the window to get some killer shots of the crew riding. I’ll let the pics speak for themselves pretty much. Enjoy. Hopefuly we’ll see y’all in Carlisle again next year.

Ride Down and through Shenandoah National Park.
The little bear cub that walked up to the door of the truck
About a mile down the road from the bear, these 2 dear decided to jump across the hood of the car in front of us as we were driving around a blind right turn.
This was the thunderstorm we rode through. I lived in Florida for 10 years and spent 5 of them on 2 wheels only. I wasn’t untill this day that I could actually say I had riden “Through” a thunder storm though, LOL.
After the rain cleared at the bottom of the park, it was a nice ride the rest of the evening.
We foud this in the parking lot of our hotel.
