All the fighters came by this week to get work done for the trip to Carlisle PA at the end of the week. Tuesday, Catatonic drove down from NC to get his carbs straight on his CBR F4 as well as reroute the emissions plumbing and pop in a new CCT and and plugs. Fairly straight forward job till he hooked up the battery cables backwards. LOL. Spent about 20 min chasing my tail till I had realised what he had done. All’s good though. He’s up and running again.
My neighboor had stoped by with his very cool CB750 cafe as we were finishing up. This is his first streetbike and he and a buddy did an excellent job cleaning this bike up. I drool over it every time he stops by or cruises through the neighborhood.
On Wensday My buddy Zr0 swings by with the R6 bobber. After about 2 years of talking about it, and a year riding around with a blown fork seal he got riding up to Fighter Fest last year. He finally pulled the trigger and scored some R1 forks. We spent the afternoon swaping in the front end and poping on a new chain and sprockets. His gears were pretty worse for ware. I’m honestly amazed it still had teeth, lol.
